Rape is never the victim’s fault The word rape might have changed the life of many victims but it is an ordinary word for us. Only those can imagine its pain who have suffered through it. Rape is not only suffering rather a mental trauma which remains with the victim for the rest of her life. †Rape is an experience which shakes the foundations of the victim’s life.† (Temkin) The definition of rape according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of United States is â€Å"Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.† In today’s world, where every evil going on the upper hand rape is also going hand in hand with these evils.
